Acne, what is it?
Acne vulgaris (juvenile or adult) is an inflammatory disease caused by the increase in sebum production by the sebaceous gland, particularly under the influence of sex hormones. This phenomenon, which often appears at puberty, then leads to the obstruction of hair follicle openings (where hair forms) and the proliferation of bacteria in the accumulated sebum.
Most often, we talk about open comedones (or "blackheads" because the sebum darkens when exposed to air) or closed comedones (microcysts or whiteheads).
The causes of the appearance of these comedones are varied: air pollution, a diet high in sugar, smoking, alcohol, sun exposure, makeup, aggressive or insufficient skin cleansing, wearing a mask...
The different types of acne:
Acne can take different forms depending on severity, age, stage of progression, or context (such as pregnancy, for example).
There are 2 main types of acne:
- Retentional acne is the least severe stage of acne. It results from an accumulation of sebum and the skin's difficulty in eliminating it. It manifests as oily and shiny skin, enlarged pores, the presence of blackheads or microcysts.
- Inflammatory acne is triggered by an imbalance in the skin flora that promotes the excessive development of a bacterium responsible for comedones.
We also distinguish other more specific forms of acne: hormonal acne, cystic acne, rosacea acne, and others…
Best practices to avoid acne
Good habits can help limit its impact, or even prevent it!
- Adopt a healthy diet by eating fruits and vegetables, not overindulging in coffee or alcohol (always consume in moderation), and avoiding sweets and fatty foods as much as possible.
- Use dietary supplements that work from the inside, such as those from Nutri&Co.
- Wash your hands regularly as we touch our face an average of 3,000 times a day 😮 and use clean brushes to apply skincare or makeup.
- Clean your skin every day (1 to 2 times) by favoring gentle cleansing products to avoid drying it out (prefer cold-saponified soaps that preserve the properties of the oils). Rinse thoroughly and use a clean towel for drying.
Do 1 or 2 gentle scrubs per week, for complete complexion care. The Endro scrub combines pomegranate enzymes, upcycled peach and orange powder, and AHAs from pomelo for a complete and radiant treatment! This combination of ingredients acts as an enzymatic exfoliant to bring radiance and immediate softness. The fruit powders, meanwhile, provide mechanical exfoliation that smooths the skin's surface while respecting it (all skin types).AHA promote cell renewal, for a refined skin texture and a radiant complexion, while respecting skin sensitivity.Avoid as much as possible popping or removing blackheads yourself, as this may cause a hair follicle infection and potentially serious complications. Even if it is really satisfying sometimes 😅Use an anti-blemish serum : in roll-on format, ideal for targeted application.Adopt a purifying routine combining: a suitable cleanser , a serum, and a cream (day and night) that helps boost the serum's active ingredients and lock in hydration (essential even for acne-prone skin).
How to treat acne
Mild acne does not necessarily require medication, phew! In this case, it is best to opt for appropriate skincare.
The frequency of application of the treatment depends on the product used, the type of acne, and the patient's tolerance. These topical treatments are preferably applied in the evening so they can work throughout the night.
Choose a moisturizing, non-comedogenic day cream, to compensate for the possible drying effects of the treatment and to avoid stimulating the sebaceous glands, which could start working even more (these then 😅).
Finally, follow the best practices and good habits mentioned above.
If you have severe acne, we recommend that you consult a professional such as a dermatologist who will prescribe the treatment best suited to your needs.
Our 100% natural miracle solution!
There is an incredible number of treatments, each more innovative than the last... and sometimes quite restrictive. But what do they really contain? At Endro Cosmétiques, it seemed important to us to offer you a solution that is completely natural and effective in which you can have complete confidence.
Our anti-blemish serum contains only 4 ingredients that give it all its effectiveness and a gentle, slightly toasted lemony scent 🍋🌰 :
- Organic hazelnut vegetable oil (non-comedogenic)
- Organic Palmarosa essential oil (antibacterial)
- Organic Tea Tree essential oil (antibacterial)
- Tocopherol (natural antioxidant)
Hazelnut oil is sebum-regulating and astringent and helps tighten pores. Its particularity? It is almost identical to the skin's sebum, very useful to help it regulate itself naturally.😉
Palmarosa essential oil is antibacterial and antifungal, it stimulates cell regeneration for better healing, and Tea Tree essential oil (also known as "Tea tree") has anti-infectious, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties to purify the skin. Now you know everything, it’s thanks to this concentrate of active ingredients that blemishes dry out more quickly without drying out the skin!
They talk about it better than we do 😊
Since its launch, we have received very positive feedback on our anti-blemish serum and we are delighted that it has been adopted so quickly. Mothers buy it for their teenagers going through puberty, women use it to soothe their hormonal acne or to make their scars disappear...

Even though the formula seems simple, it took us several months to develop it (because it's all about the right dosages) and a lot of testing before achieving these results. We are very proud to offer you this serum 100% natural origin, certified ORGANIC and remarkably effective.
And we know it... acne and the sun do not mix well! To keep your skin at its best all year round, it is important to protect your skin from the sun.
